As an Australian expat, one of the hardest things to find is a really good meat pie! I am happy to say that Two Kangaroo has filled the void! Their meat pies and sausage rolls definitely taste like home. They were so easy to cook from frozen and tasted like they were freshly baked. For all the people who think pie is only for dessert, these will change your mind. I will definitely be purchasing again!

Amazing tucker meat pies that are so delicious. Simple take and bake pies made with love and the best ingredients. The owners (Jin and her husband) are so kind and prompt in delivering the pies. You should definitely give them a try! Bonzer!

TL;DR: Get them while they’re hot, or get them frozen to eat at home. Either way. Just get them! As an American married to an Aussie, I feel that I have some skin in the game of Quality Meat Pies ™️. And as someone who has tried my hand at making meat pies for my husband at home, I can also respect the talent and time it takes to make an actually good pie. These pies are it! Jin and her team have done an incredible job bringing this Australian delicacy stateside. Made by hand, the pastry is flaky and light on top, with enough structure on the bottom to hold the delicious filling inside, preventing you from burning your hands (iykyk). The filling. WOW! Having tried the Beef Bacon & Cheese, Korean Chicken, and Chunky Beef, you cannot go wrong with any flavor. While the chunky beef is the closest to “true Aussie meat pie”, the other flavors are delicious nods at Korean and American food culture that you don’t want to miss. Two Kangaroo should be a staple comfort food in your home kitchen. Don’t miss your chance to taste a bit of Australia if you’re in the area 🇦🇺

Two Kangaroo makes *delicious* food. We got one of everything, and it is truly difficult to pick a favorite because they were all excellent. I say try all the pies and decide for yourself. Pleasantly surprising were the Anzac biscuits, which I had never heard of but really enjoyed. The balance between chew and crunch reminded me of a stroopwaffel. Overall, a great addition to the food scene in the Twin Cities! We’ll definitely be back.
